Bits And Pieces 8 | Some More Disconnected Thoughts From Yours Truly

Hey everybody! I’ll be going to school sooner than later, but I’m also receiving ADHD treatment now, so who knows what’s going to be happening to my upload schedule in the near future. For now, here’s some stuff that’s been on my mind recently.

Just a reminder, but I have a Twitter now. The purpose it serves is twofold: I want to spread the word of my blogging to more people, and I want to be able to check the feeds of my favorite content creators now that tweets are only visible to those with actual accounts. For the sake of my own health, I’m going to try to not be on there too much, though.

Considering I’ve been posting so inconsistently for the past few months, my newest editorial has really been doing numbers. As soon as my medication starts building up I’ll be able to write even more frequently. About time I do something with the 90(!) drafts sitting around on my computer.

When viewing the stats on my stories, I sometimes notice that I have views coming from websites I never posted links on. I would very much like to be directly taken to the places where my blog posts have been mentioned or linked to. If somebody at Medium could manage that, that would be great.

It really hasn’t felt like summer, has it? At least not where I’m from. Between the haze from Canadian wildfires and the never-ending terrible weather- it’s always either stormy or too humid — I haven’t really gotten outside as much as I’d like. July 4th weekend in particular was a disaster; almost every event in my area got canceled due to thunderstorms.

I’ve been thinking about whether or not I’ll attend Super Smash Con this year. If I do, you should almost certainly expect an editorial on the experience, or at least one loosely related to it. I have something really special planned, if the planets align.

I just realized: as long as I have a Twitter, I don’t really see a point in doing these, since I can just put all my incomplete thoughts on there. I’m sure nobody will miss them anyway, and then at least you can be sure that whatever I post here is going to be something important.
